About Shirts to Match Jordans
Finding a shirt to match Jordans is harder than it should be. Most sneaker tees are printed in one flat approximation of a colorway and hope for the best — which is how you end up with something that looks close enough in the product photo and obviously wrong the moment you step outside. We take the palette from the colorway itself, so the accent on the shirt is the accent on the shoe.
The rule that makes a fit work: chase the accent color, not the dominant one. A Jordan 5 in Black University Blue wants the university blue repeated somewhere up top, not another block of black. A Jordan 3 Brazil wants the yellow, not the white. Squint at the pair — the color that disappears is usually the one worth building the outfit around.
